Maker

Hardware meets software. I've dabbled in electronics for years, building things around ESP32 microcontrollers, and the software background means I get to make them actually do something useful.

On the 3D printing side, I started out on a rickety IKEA-table-grade printer and have since run kilometres of filament through it. Functional prints, enclosures, fixes around the house, the "I'm pretty sure I can figure it out" instinct in physical form.

I've also been a lifelong Lego builder, I still have sets from when I was a teenager (a hundred years ago, give or take).

And the biggest maker project of all is software-meets-life: I built my own health platform that pulls together blood tests over time, workout habits, eating habits and journals into one overall health snapshot. More on that under Sport & Fitness.
